Utica Comets' mascot Naudie recently paid a visit to our office in advance of the AHL Calder Cup Playoffs.
We are proud to support our 1st Place Utica Comets and will be cheering them on throughout the playoffs.

To help in the fight aginst COVID-19, Charles A Gaetano Construction set-up and donated respiratory triage tents, barriers and heat equipmet for both St. Luke's Hospital and St. Elizabth's Hospital campuses. The respiratory triage tents are set-up to identify potential coronaviruses cases outside the hospital to help midigate the amout of people that com in contact with the virus.

Charles A. Gaetano Construction was visited by the United Way of the Valley and the Greater Utica Area on February 28th to thank us for our contributions to their 2016 Campaign.

Again this year, Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corporation was a Course Sponsor for The Mighty Run-2014 held on the Masonic Care Community campus in Utica, September 13, 2014. Almost 1200 adults participated in this event. The course is a beginner to intermediate level mud run suitable for all fitness levels with some training. Obstacles included in this course are Over/Under Log jump and crawl, Slip & Slide (100 ft. slide into a muddy pool), Mighty Mountain Rope Climb, Walls of Pain, Sewer Crawl (series of muddy trenches you crawl through), Monkey Bars, Wheelbarrow race and more. Also featured in this event is The Mighty Mite Run with almost 500 children ages 5 thru 12 years old who participated. On Wednesday April 2, 2014, several Gaetano employees participated in the 2014 National Walking Day Event held at the New Hartford Shopping Center. The event was sponsored by the local affiliate of the American Heart Association as part of the national movement to get up and get moving.

Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corporation is a proud supporter of America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk and their efforts to fight heart disease, stroke and to promote a healthier lifestyle. Over the past 8 years we have been the sponsor of the Two of Hearts Car Raffle. The money raised by the raffle is part of the overall money raised for the annual America's Greatest Heart Run and Walk. Our Company hosts several live telethons from the corporate office at 258 Genesee Street in Utica to help promote ticket sales for the raffle. In addition Charles A. Gaetano Construction participates in the Annual Heart Run and Walk with its own "Team Gaetano". In 2012 Charles A Gaetano Construction was the recipient of the American Heart Association's "Gold Level" Fit-Friendly Worksite. This past September, Rob Munson, one our Project Managers was recognized with the American Heart Association's Leadership Volunteer Achievement Award for securing the Gold Level Fit-Friendly Worksite distinction for Gaetano Construction.

Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corporation was a Course Sponsor for The Mighty Run. The Mighty Run is a 5k cross country run with several obstacles to climb over and under throughout the course. The Run took place on May 4, 2013 at the Masonic Care Community campus in Utica. In addition to donating labor and material to construct the obstacles, several Gaetano employees donated their time on race day to help martial the course. Dan Burke is pictured here, building one of the climbing walls. The next "Mighty Run" will take place on September 13, 2014.

The Saranac Thursday Concert Series takes place every Thursday throughout the summer in FX Matt Brewery's outdoor beer garden. More than 1,000 volunteers, coordinated by United Way, donate their time working the weekly event. A portion of the proceeds benefit United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area. This is Gaetano's 2nd year volunteering for this great event; we plan on making it a yearly tradition.

During the weeks of December 19th and 25th 2011 the Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corp. of Utica, NY donated their labor, tools and equipment to complete the drywall of a new 2-story home on Lansing Street in Utica for the Oneida County Habitat for Humanity organization.
Habitat for Humanity's Mission is to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing to their neighbors in need. Gaetano Construction is pleased to be able to contribute to such a worthy cause helping to improve our community.

During the week of October 19th the Charles A. Gaetano Construction Corp. of Utica, NY donated their labor, tools and equipment to install fascias and soffits on a 2-story, Oneida County Habitat for Humanity home being constructed on Lansing Street in Utica, NY.
